Hollywood probably wants to make things, in this case I mean movies, innovative and off the beaten paths, that's why those kid-all-time-favorite stories are not made for them anymore, they are turning brutal,vicious and of course couldn't lack some random erotic scenes to spice up the whole adult theme, in my opinion.
Life sucks, why is everybody so eager to make it more miserable? I want my innocent and dreamlike fairy tales back.
